How we produce our honey

Making honey is a complex and unique process and is produced in several stages

Indeed, making honey is a fascinating and intricate process carried out by honeybees. This process involves several stages, each with its own set of activities and contributions from the bees.

01. Flowers produce nectar and attract our bees

Once our ladies find these flowers and then they will head back to let all the other bees know where they found them, by doing the “waggle dance”.

02. Bees collect the nectar and carry it to the beehive

Our ladies collect the nectar and pollen from the flowers and carry it back to the hive. Where they begin to make it into delicious and healthy honey

03. Bees seal cells with wax and honey can be stored for future use

Our Busy Bees will actually fan the honey with their wings to reduce its water content and when the honey is just right they cap the cells of honey with wax.

04. We collect the product and transfer it to the packaging

Once our Happy Bees have capped the honey we will then go in and harvest the honey, filter it, and then bottle it up for you to purchase.
